Never Stop Creating

Once a month, I join a few friends to get our "crafting" on and consume too much wine. I'm pretty sure most writers have a desire to create all sorts of things. For me, it's been soap, (whole other post on that) journals, jewelry, lip balm, and an assortment of other endeavors that require a Michael's trip. While I worked and honed my journalism skills, I never so much as picked up a paint brush. Now, I'm that senior lady scrolling YouTube to learn how to scrapbook or refinish a dresser.

If you have the time and desire, grab some friends and make something-ANYTHING! In this photo, you'll see the Halloween wine glass painting that took over my kitchen. We assign each person to be the "expert" and they tend to lead us in a craft. By the way, there's so much out there to learn and YouTube will get you pumped to paint, sew or make your own moisturizer.
